ESOL - stands for English for Speakers of Other Languages and a set Rotary Dictionaries has come in very handy.

Anne Summers, Chair of the Youth And Community team presents a student at the Camberley Adult Education Centre with a set of Rotary's illustrated dictionairies.

 

The Students come from 10 countries and need to improve their English to help with employment prospects and in some instances to prepare for their British Citizen Exam.

 

Judith Johnson Asst' Curriculum Manager for ESOL gave out the remaining dictionaries the following morning and said "there was another set of very happy and surprised faces. The teachers also asked me to thank Rotary as they can now design some activities with everyone having the same book!'
